It’s been a couple of months now, and Catalina is working just fine without any problems. With Mail, Music and Reminders opening at login, it took almost 10 minutes from starting up for my iMac to be remotely functional, I had hiccups daily and kernel panics weekly, and I even lost files I work with mere minutes before one of those crashes.Īfter a few weeks of this nightmare (I could say that I lost in bugs and crashes a day of work a week while on Big Sur), I decided to format my iMac and downgraded to Catalina. ![]() A few months ago, I decided to install Big Sur (11.2) on my office’s iMac Retina 5K (27”, Late 2015)… ![]()
